Plane forced to land in Bermuda due to stench from pigs in cargo hold

The Boeing 787 plane of KLM, which was flying from Amsterdam to Mexico City, was forced to land in Bermuda because of a strong odor from hundreds of pigs in the cargo hold. Business Insider reported on December 16.
"The smell from a hundred pigs being transported in the cargo hold <...> forced the crew of the airplane to take a course to Bermuda to get some fresh air," - the edition quotes the words of a representative of the company Skyport.
The plane landed in Bermuda six hours after departure. All 259 passengers on the plane passed through immigration control and were accommodated in hotels while the pigs were examined by a veterinarian. After checking in with the veterinarian, the animals were loaded onto another plane.
The delayed flight arrived in Mexico City 26 hours late.
On October 14, an Air India flight from Mumbai to New York made an emergency landing at New Delhi airport due to a security threat. There were 239 passengers on board.
