The court sent Sorokina, who ran down the nanny with the child, to custody until February 14

Shcherbinsky court of Moscow sent Natalia Sorokina, who ran down a nanny with a child, to custody. This was reported by Izvestia correspondent from the courtroom on Monday, December 16.

She will stay in pre-trial detention until February 14.

Sorokina pleaded guilty in full.

During the hearing it became known that the perpetrator of the accident is not registered with a narcologist and psychiatrist. She refused to be medically examined.

The tragedy happened on December 14 on the territory of a closed village in New Moscow. Sorokina, being in a state of alcohol intoxication, failed to cope with the control and flew out on the sidewalk, on which the nanny and a nine-year-old boy were walking. The victims were hospitalized with injuries of varying degrees of severity. The child died in hospital.
