Belousov ordered the creation of a system to search for missing military personnel


Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov on Monday, December 16, at an enlarged meeting of the ministry's board instructed to create a comprehensive system to search for missing military personnel and support their family members.
"To create a comprehensive system to search for missing military personnel and support for their family members. At the moment, this work is being carried out for too long and with low efficiency," he said.
Belousov noted that the search should be approached comprehensively, including improvements in legislation, establishing order in search procedures and joining forces with volunteers.
Earlier, December 9, Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova in an interview with "RIA Novosti" pointed out the importance of building a proper system of searching for missing persons in the course of the SWO. She added that in this matter Russia is interested in the experience of other states.
Before that, on November 14, it was reported that in Kursk region found about 1.2 thousand people whose contact was lost due to the emergency situation in the region.
