Mutual trade between Moscow and China is showing steady growth, the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in his Telegram channel.

"In the first nine months of 2024, it increased by 7.7% if compared to the same period last year. At the same time, Moscow's share in the countries' total trade turnover exceeds 40%," the mayor noted.

China accounts for more than 7% of the volume of non-resource non-energy exports of the Russian capital. Among the main export goods are products of mechanical engineering, instrumentation, medical equipment, food products and other goods.

Special attention is paid to joint industrial projects. Moscow companies are actively concluding contracts with Chinese manufacturers of buses and vending machines to supply their solutions. Also, a pharmaceutical company from Moscow has opened a subsidiary in China to expand cooperation.

The Mosprom Center actively supports Moscow manufacturers by helping them find new partners abroad. In addition, the state promotes the development of Moscow exports within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export". Industrialists receive consultations, analytics and assistance in promoting their goods on international markets.
