In Belgorod region, a truck driver was injured in an attack by an AFU FPV drone


In Belgorod region near the village of Borki in Valui district, an FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked a moving truck, a civilian was injured. This was reported by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on December 16.
"The driver was wounded. The victim with shrapnel wounds to the head and arm is taken by the SMP (emergency medical aid. - Ed.) brigade to Valuyskaya CRB. All necessary assistance is being provided," Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel.
He also added that the vehicle was damaged. Operational services are working at the site and clarify information about the incident.
On the eve Gladkov reported the death of a nine-year-old boy after an attack by Ukrainian drones. The child's mother and seven-month-old sister were wounded. Also, the governor of Belgorod region reported that during the day the region was subjected to drone attacks 37 times.
Earlier, on December 13, a civilian was injured as a result of an AFU drone strike on two settlements in Belgorod region. The victim was diagnosed with a mine blast injury and multiple shrapnel wounds. In addition, Ukrainian troops struck the village of Krasnaya Niva, dropping an explosive device from a drone, which caused the roof of a residential building to catch fire.
The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
