Residents of the Pskov region lost over 8 million rubles to fraudsters

Several people in the Pskov region have lost over 8 million roubles due to fraud. The police are carrying out checks on each case.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the scheme in which con artists offer victims additional income remains widespread. In addition, some Pskovites were intimidated by unauthorized execution of loans or write-offs from bank accounts. This is reported by the Pskov newswire.

Some victims lost money in purchase and sale transactions on the Internet. On each fact initiated a criminal case.

In St. Petersburg, fraudsters stole from a pensioner over 34 million rubles. The swindlers communicated on behalf of the FSB and threatened the victim with criminal liability for allegedly transferring money to Ukraine.
