Songs and music for the movie "Finist. The first bogatyr" wrote well-known artists, such as Lev Leshchenko and rock band The Hatters. The creators of the soundtrack to the film on December 16, told about the work on the music.

The movie "Finist. The first bogatyr" combines the traditions of the past and modernity. In the story, the fearless knight Finist fights in Belogorie with a lot of fairy tale monsters, and the soundtracks add dynamics to the lively plot. The title song for the film was written by The Hatters, a band that plays folk-rock, which perfectly suits the ethnos of the movie. The creators of the picture organized a special screening for the band before the premiere.

"It's not difficult for us to bring, so let's call it, "Russianness" into the song. We have an accordion. <...> We tried to put these feelings, which remained after watching the movie, into a small, short piece of music", - said the leader of The Hatters Yuri Muzychenko.

It is important that the magic of the movie can be created only with the due diligence of the sound director, that's why the soundtracks for the movie were developed with great attention. Music helps the video sequence to transport the viewer to the most different worlds - from the market in an ancient Russian city to the sands of the eastern deserts. The composer and orchestra had to create a soundtrack for the fairy tale, and this work could be based on masterpieces by Russian composers Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

"For us, of course, it was very important to see the director's embodiment of the characters and, in fact, to combine the musical image together with the visual image. Bright images of Leshey, bright images of Baba Yaga, a huge turtle or some oriental images," said Vladislav Lavrik, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, conductor.

"Finist. The first bogatyr" - so far the only movie from the saga, which is devoted to oriental themes. Producer Vitaly Shlyappo pointed out that moving to the East gives the picture a different color, sound, flavor and music, which refreshes the whole series.

In addition to The Hatters and Lev Leshchenko, the authors of the tracks for the new picture were the collectives "My Michelle" and Uma2rman.
