EAO became a "good girl" in the eco-rating of Russian regions

The Jewish Autonomous Area took the position of a "good performer" in the environmental rating of Russian regions. The Jewish Autonomous Area met most of the indicators of federal projects.

The rating gives a comprehensive assessment of the improvement of the situation with ecology in the subjects of the country, shows the level of satisfaction of the population with the results of this work.

EAOMedia IA specifies that the rating was created on the initiative of the Center for Sustainable Development of the Russian State Geological Exploration University named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze, as well as the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection. The Russian Public Relations Association took part in the development of the rating.

The project was created in order to track progress in achieving the national goal "Ecological Prosperity". It was formed in the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation № 309 "On the national development goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 and in the perspective up to 2036".

Earlier it was reported that EAO received about 100 million rubles under the federal program "Clean Water" of the national project "Ecology". They will be used to solve problems with water supply to two settlements in the Birobidzhan and Smidovichi districts.
