Khabarovsk Krai to present improvement projects worth 2 billion rubles

In Khabarovsk Krai, 11 settlements are going to take part in the IV All-Russian contest of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment for the Far Eastern Federal District. They will send their applications to the Russian Ministry of Construction.
The region will participate in the contest with 15 projects totaling about 2 billion rubles. AmurMedia news agency with reference to the regional Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities writes that the list includes projects to improve Stroitel Park in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Parus Park in Sovetskaya Gavan and the History of the Birth of the City of Vyazemsky, as well as Central Park, Victory Avenue and the Ring Square in Amursk.
The winners of the contest will receive grants for the implementation of ideas in 2026-2027.
The department said that the all-Russian contest is held on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2018. In 2022, it was held separately for the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District. For the entire period of the competition, the region put up 38 applications. Eighteen projects won. 1.8 billion rubles were allocated for their implementation.
In early December, it was reported that a modern park of culture and recreation appeared in the city of Bikin (Khabarovsk Territory). As part of the project, the contractor built a stage and amphitheater on the territory, installed a children's playground with a complex "Rope Park", shopping pavilions, garbage cans and benches, lighting supports. The cost of the improvement amounted to 90 million rubles. The funds were allocated from the federal budget under the national project "Housing and Urban Environment".
