The Internet Development Institute (IDI) starts accepting applications for the National Internet Content Award. The main industrial award for creators of socially important online projects will be presented for the fourth time in the summer of 2025.

The collection of applications will last until January 31, 2025. There are 15 main categories in the contest: game series up to 30 minutes, game series over 30 minutes, non-scripted project, documentary project, short project, video up to three minutes, project in vertical format, animated content, viral content, podcast, music track, blog, Telegram channel, special project in online media, social Internet action. Traditionally, the award will also be presented in special nominations, which will be announced later. The finalists will be chosen by the Expert Council of the Award, and the winners will be chosen by the jury.

Alexei Goreslavsky, IRI General Director: "The IRI Award covers the main formats of online content - from TV series and blogs to videos and podcasts. Every year the number of applications grows, but it is important for us that the quality grows as well: socially significant content is becoming quite fashionable. Authors are no longer striving for popularity at any cost, but are making projects with meaning and good marketing, and as a result - with great views and a lively response from the audience. The task of our Award is to highlight them and open them up to those who are not yet familiar with them".

Projects that were published on the Internet between January 1 and December 31, 2024 on platforms that are not prohibited by Russian law may be submitted for the Prize. Content in Russian or in the official languages of the peoples of Russia is accepted. Trailers, teasers and other promotional materials, except for social videos, are not allowed to participate.

More detailed information on the terms and conditions of participation, nominations, experts, winners and finalists of previous years can be found on the new website of the Award, which is now located on the main IRI website.
