Chery's new flagship crossover began arriving in showrooms in Russia

Dealerships in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan have started to receive new Chery Tiggo 9 crossovers, the dealerships are preparing for the start of sales. This was reported by the analytical agency "Autostat" on December 16.
According to the head of the press service of Expocar Group of Companies Alexander Kovalev, it is expected that the sales volume of Tiggo 9 may exceed the demand for Tiggo 8 Pro Max, as the new model significantly exceeds it in technical characteristics and level of equipment. At the same time, the top all-wheel drive configuration Ultra may become the most popular.
In addition, the specialist noted that the Chery Tiggo 9 in the Russian market has almost no direct competitors. The closest rivals are Jaecoo J8, Geely Monjaro and Exeed TXL, but they are five-seaters, and the Tiggo 9 has a third row of seats. Among all-wheel drive seven-seater cars with a classic "automatic" and a similar level of equipment, the choice is very limited, he pointed out.
December 10, it was reported that Chery Tiggo 9 will be offered in Russia in two configurations, sales will start on December 17. For customers who have made a reservation, the price of the car will be 4.19 million rubles.
Before that, on November 29, Chery announced that it will completely update the model range in the Russian market. Thus, updated versions and restyling of the Arrizo sedan, Tiggo 4 city crossover and Tiggo 7 Pro Max and Tiggo 8 Pro Max family crossovers are expected in 2025.
