Sobyanin spoke about the development of the pharmaceutical industry center "Alabushevo"

Zelenograd will become one of the largest centers of pharmaceutical industry in the country, said the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin in his blog. The Alabushevo site in the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone has brought together many new pharmaceutical companies in recent years.

SEZ enterprises Velpharm, BIOCAD, R-Pharm and Generium-Next are operating here. They employ more than 1.5 thousand people. In addition, over 91 thousand square meters of new industrial buildings are currently under construction.

The residents of "Alabushevo" produce products also under offset contracts, which allow the city to receive goods, and investors - guaranteed orders. Since 2017, eight such contracts have been concluded for a total of 38 billion rubles with an investment volume of about 45 billion rubles. The total area of production facilities that will appear in the city thanks to the contracts will be almost 150 thousand square meters.

The city is already receiving pharmaceuticals under three offset contracts. Since 2021, pharmaceutical companies have supplied to medical institutions of the capital more than 2.4 million packages of drugs for the treatment of oncological, cardiological, endocrine and autoimmune diseases, as well as anti-glaucoma, antibacterial and analgesic drugs, antidepressants and neuroleptics.

In total, more than 300 companies in Moscow produce medicines, medical equipment and products. All key enterprises are actively developing and increasing capacity utilization.
