"On the coast near the village of Volna resumed evacuation of the crew from the tanker "Volgoneft 239", - said the agency in Telegram-channel.
The head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Alexander Kurenkov also instructed to increase additional aeromobile groupings of the Don Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, the South Regional Rescue Service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Krasnodar Krai.
More than 200 specialists and 37 units of equipment are working at the scene.
Tanker "Volgoneft-212" suffered a disaster in the Kerch Strait on December 15 due to bad weather. The signal about it came to the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. In the area where the ship is located, there are strong squally winds and sea excitement up to seven points.
Later in the regional EMERCOM reported about the damage to the second tanker - "Volgoneft-239". It added that more than 50 people and 11 units of equipment are involved in the elimination of the incident. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia specified that "Volgoneft-212" ran aground, "Volgoneft-239" also ran aground after being damaged.
As a result of the wreck of the tanker "Volgoneft-212" in the Kerch Strait suffered 11 people, two of them in serious condition. This was reported by Assistant Minister of Health of Russia Alexei Kuznetsov on December 15.
The Prosecutor's Office began checking the crash of two tankers. The Russian Investigative Committee's directorate for Crimea and Sevastopol opened two criminal cases over the incident.
