A passenger train crashed into a truck at a railroad crossing in Khabarovsk region. This was reported in the press service of the Far Eastern Railway (FER) on December 16.

It is specified that the incident occurred at the railway crossing between the stations Kenai and Oune of the Far Eastern Railway.

"The driver of the truck drove onto the railroad crossing in front of the approaching passenger train No. 352 message Sovetskaya Gavan - Vladivostok", - stated in the message of the press service.

Representatives of the Far Eastern Railway noted that the driver applied emergency braking, but the collision could not be avoided.

According to preliminary data, no one was injured in the accident, passengers and the train crew did not seek medical help.

"In the cars of the passenger train the necessary temperature is maintained. If necessary, passengers will be provided with hot meals," - indicated in the press service of the Far Eastern Railway.

The circumstances of the incident are being clarified. Movement of trains on the section is temporarily suspended.

Earlier, on October 13, it was reported that a train collided with a passenger car at a railway crossing in the Irkutsk region. The driver of the car and one of the two passengers died.
