In the city of Zheleznogorsk traffic police inspectors used their service weapons in pursuit of a drunk driver without a license. This was reported on December 16 in the Telegram-channel of the management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Krasnoyarsk region.

"[Car] Toyota Corona was moving in the opposite direction on a one-way road. The inspectors through a special loudspeaking device demanded the offender to stop. However, the latter sharply increased speed and started moving towards the road Zheleznogorsk - Krasnoyarsk", - noted in the message.

After warning shots in the air traffic police officers started shooting at the wheels of the car. As a result, the car was stopped, the driver was detained.

Later it turned out that the culprit has never been trained in a driving school and does not have a driver's license. Signs of intoxication were also revealed. The car of the violator was seized and placed in a special parking lot.

Earlier, on December 5, a driver hit a policeman in St. Petersburg, and law enforcers gave chase to the offender. The driver drove into the crosswalk and stopped at it. Police officers got out of the car and tried to stop the offender, but he ran over one of the law enforcers and tried to drive away, but the second police car chased him. The injured law enforcement officer remained on the pavement, while his colleague used his service weapon in an attempt to apprehend the driver.
