The governor reported two eliminated drones in the skies over the Bryansk region

Air defense means have destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the skies above the Bryansk region, Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported on December 16.

"Two aircraft-type UAVs were detected and destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region by air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry," the region's head wrote in his Telegram channel at 7:10.

As Bogomaz noted, there were no damages or casualties as a result of the attempted attack. Operational services are working at the scene.

On the eve of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov said that three drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the city of Grozny, two of them were shot down by air defense.

Also on December 15, the head of the Tuapse district of Krasnodar Krai, Sergei Boyko, reported an attack by Ukrainian drones on the district. All drones were shot down by air defense means. There were no casualties or damage.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
