Artillerymen disrupted the rotation of AFU units in the Krasnoarmeysk direction

The 203-millimeter 2S7M Malka self-propelled artillery unit (SAU) of the Center group of troops has successfully eliminated armored vehicles and a Ukrainian army stronghold, preventing the rotation of militants in the Krasnoarmeysk direction, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on December 16.
The artillerymen work in tandem with drone calculations, which help to correct the work on the target from the air.
The calculation in the shortest possible time, having received the coordinates, moved to the square of the task and, having transferred the vehicle to the combat position, delivered a series of blows with 110 kg fragmentation-fugitive shells.
"The device with which I work, the periscopic artillery bussol PAV-2M, serves to orient the gun on the terrain. The principle is the same with all guns: an eyepiece that has a fivefold magnification, large and small angle scales, and a directing angle scale. Without the [bussol], this gun cannot fire. My task is to receive from the senior officer of the battery the directing angle of the installation, which he calculates, and with the help of these installations I postpone the given values on this bussol, give an indication to the gun," said the commander of the calculation department, Staff Sergeant Sergeant Sergei Ivanov.
Thanks to the coordinated work of Russian servicemen from a distance of 20 km, not only armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were successfully destroyed, but also a stronghold was defeated.
Earlier, on December 2, servicemen of the 203-mm 2S7M Malka SAU of the Center group of troops hit a UAV control point and a hangar with armored vehicles of the AFU in the Krasnoarmeyskoye direction of the North Caucasus Military District. The servicemen fired a series of 203-millimeter high-explosive shells, hitting the UAV control point at a distance of more than 28 kilometers.
