SVO veterans to become United Russia candidates in State Duma elections


Delegates to the United Russia party congress explained why they supported the decision to start searching for and training new potential political leaders from among veterans of the Special Military Operation (SVO).
"Participants of the SWO understand well what course we are taking, what the country needs for sustainability and development, for peaceful creation, for preserving our independence. It is such people - honest, devoted to their duty, responsible, and should be in key management positions," Daria Lantratova, deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy, told Izvestia.
The heroes of the SWO act not only as candidates in elections, but also join the party's governing bodies. According to the results of the rotation of the General Council of "United Russia", it includes 56 people, 16 of whom are participants of the special operation.
