Mir cards will work in several Nicaraguan cities in 2025

The possibility of withdrawing money from cards of the Russian payment system "Mir" will appear in several ATMs in Nicaragua in 2025. We are talking not only about the capital Managua, but also about other key cities in this country. This was told to "Izvestia" by Laureano Ortega, special representative of the President of the country on the development of relations with Russia.

"We hope to move forward during 2025 to create a whole network of this kind of ATMs in the capital of Managua, as well as in other important cities of our country, to simplify the situation for Russian citizens. In the future, we can also start issuing Mir cards in Nicaragua," Ortega said.

Earlier in Managua it became possible to withdraw money from Mir cards at one of the ATMs.
