The hospital told about the condition of those hospitalized from the Volgoneft-212 tanker

Two people, taken to the Anapa city hospital after the crash of the tanker "Volgoneft-212" in the Kerch Strait, are in serious condition, nine more - in a state of moderate severity. This was reported on December 15 by deputy chief doctor of the medical institution Elina Grigorieva.

"All the victims move independently, no visible injuries, examined, hospitalized, are under constant observation," - said the specialist.

According to Grigorieva, the serious condition of two patients is due to prolonged exposure to water. The doctor also added that the hospital has enough medicines and medical devices to treat the victims.

In addition, the Telegram-channel of the mayor's office of the resort town of Anapa reported that the situation is under constant control.

On the same day, Assistant Minister of Health of Russia Alexei Kuznetsov reported that 11 people were injured as a result of the wreck of the tanker "Volgoneft-212" in the Kerch Strait. They were recorded hypothermia.

Tankers "Volgoneft-212" and "Volgoneft-239" crashed in the Kerch Strait earlier in the day. There were strong squally winds and sea excitement up to 7 points in that area. In the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol reported that more than 50 people and 11 units of equipment are involved in the elimination of the incident.

The vessel "Volgoneft-212" ran aground, a few hours later the same happened with "Volgoneft-239" near the port of Taman, Krasnodar Territory. During the rescue operation 13 people were evacuated from the first vessel, one of them died. The crew of the second tanker consisting of 14 people is on the vessel. The evacuation of the crew was suspended due to bad weather. Two criminal cases were opened over the incident, one of which was reclassified as more serious.
