Holiday treats, children's matinees, ice shows with famous figure skaters, concerts, performances, as well as creative, scientific and culinary classes await guests of the festival "Journey to Christmas", which is held in Moscow until January 12. This was told by the Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.

"Journey to Christmas" is part of the large-scale project "Winter in Moscow", which will unite all seasonal events from December 1 to February 28.
"Muscovites and tourists are waiting for more than four thousand master classes. Participants will make with their own hands decorations for the house, voice cartoons, record video greetings and prepare dishes for the holiday table", - reported Sergunina.

So, on Tverskaya Square guests will be able to depict on Christmas tree toys characters of famous animated pictures, and on clay plates - winter landscapes. In the location between Revolution Square and Manezhnaya Square they offer to make felt masks, New Year's key chains for bags, as well as lip gloss based on the film "Morozko" and lipstick in the theme of the movie "Sluzhebny Romance".

At the festival site in Kurkino district, visitors will be able to learn the basics of filming and make a clip in the style of the TV show "Visiting a Fairy Tale". In the film park "Moschino" will decorate alarm clocks in the shape of an owl from the animated film "Winnie the Pooh" and a robot from "The Adventures of Samodelkin".

Cooking master classes will be held at 17 sites, including in the districts of Kuzminki, Koptevo and Maryino. Those who wish will be able, in particular, to bake Moscow buns with jam and sugar crust, buns with raisins and cottage cheese and berries, prepare New Year's skoblyanka and "Stolichny" salad.
