Three civilians injured in AFU shelling of Horlivka

Three civilians were injured as a result of artillery shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported by the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko on December 15.

"As a result of artillery shelling of the Komsomolets residential area from the positions of Ukrainian terrorists, a civilian of Gorlovka was wounded," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Two women were also injured during the Ukrainian attack. Other details of the incident are unknown.

On the same day it was reported that the AFU fired eight shells of NATO caliber 155 mm on Gorlovka in six hours. The locality of Katerinovka in the Nikitovka district of the city was shelled.

On the eve it became known that five civilians were injured as a result of the AFU attack on Gorlovka. All of them were taken to medical facilities with wounds of varying severity. Six houses, a school, a territorial center and several buses were also damaged.

Ukrainian militants have been shelling Russian territories, especially its new regions, on a daily basis amid the special operation to protect Donbass, which the Russian Federation announced the start of on February 24, 2022.
