The G.I. Petrov stadium was renovated in Novonukutskoye in Priangarie region

The Novonukutsky settlement in the Irkutsk region has completed major repairs of the stadium named after the honorary citizen of the district G.I. Petrov. This is reported by the regional government.
The stadium is located on the basis of the sports and recreation complex "Unga-Arena". The contractor installed two modular stands with a canopy, equipped volleyball courts, a soccer field and sectors for athletics. In addition, guest yurts, a tennis court and a playground for town games were built.
As IrkutskMedia IA specifies, the entrance to the stadium is free, but a fence has been installed around its perimeter. Also, as part of the renovation, modern lighting was installed on the territory and a security surveillance system was installed.
"The modern facility will be able to host competitions of various levels, will comfortably accommodate athletes from other districts and will provide residents with all conditions for sports," - commented the acting Minister of Construction of the region Alexei Emelyukov.
The stadium renovation started in March 2023 within the framework of the regional state program "Development of Physical Culture and Sports". The cost of the renovation amounted to more than 27.3 million rubles.
