Overhaul of the bridge over the Bolshoi Kantat started in the Krasnoyarsk region

In Bolshemurtinsky district of Krasnoyarsk Krai the overhaul of the bridge over the Bolshoi Kantat River has started. This is reported by IA KrasnoyarskMedia with reference to the press service of the regional highway department.

The bridge is located at the 115th km of the Krasnoyarsk-Yeniseysk highway. The contractor will have to strengthen the supports, perform waterproofing and lay new asphalt. As the news agency specifies, after the renovation the width of the bridge will increase by 2 meters - up to 15 meters.

The decision on repair was made after the survey, which revealed violations of waterproofing and cracks in the supports. Also in unsatisfactory condition are the girder of the span structure, fences and road surface of the crossing and approaches to it.

Now the contractor is engaged in preparation - cutting bushes and forming a temporary detour road from rocky soil. It is planned to complete the overhaul and hand over the object at the end of 2025.

The bridge was built in 1973. The previous time it was repaired was in 2001.
