Three drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the city of Grozny in the morning, two of them were shot down by air defense means. This was reported by the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov on December 15.

"Three drones attacked Grozny this morning. Two of them were shot down by air defense forces. The third fell on the territory of the OMON "Akhmat-Grozny" of the Rosgvardiya Board of the Chechen Republic. There are no casualties," Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, the head of the Tuapse district, Sergei Boiko, reported an attack by Ukrainian drones on the district. All the drones were shot down by air defense means. There were no casualties or damage.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense means intercepted and shot down 15 AFU drones over the Black Sea, Kursk and Belgorod regions.

The AFU has been trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
