Air defense forces repelled an attack by AFU drones on the Tuapse district of Krasnodar Territory

Air defense forces have repelled an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Tuapse district of Krasnodar Region. This was reported by the head of the district Sergey Boyko in his Telegram-channel on December 15.

"This night in the sky above the Tuapse district an attack of enemy drones was repulsed. The drones were destroyed by our air defense forces. There are no casualties or damage," Boyko wrote.

He thanked the air defense fighters for the defense.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces intercepted and shot down 15 AFU drones over the Black Sea, Kursk and Belgorod regions.

On the eve, December 14, the ministry said that from 21:30 to 22:30 they destroyed five Ukrainian aircraft-type drones over the Belgorod, Kursk and Bryansk regions and over the Black Sea.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
