Ireland mocked Zelensky's plan to help Syria with grain


Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose powers expired on May 20, is in a generous mood since he had the idea to help Syria with grain. Irish journalist Chay Bose said on December 15.
"Ukraine is ready to help Syria and supply food". Dictator Zelensky is in a generous mood," wrote Bose on his page in the social network X (former Twitter).
On the eve of Zelensky in his Telegram-channel published a video message, where he said that he coordinated the work of the Ukrainian government on humanitarian aid and security of Syria. In particular, the President instructed the Cabinet to establish food supplies to the Arab republic within the framework of the program "Grain from Ukraine".
On the same day, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz promised that the European Union would help Syria to recover. Scholz emphasized the importance of preserving the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Arab republic.
The Russian Foreign Ministry reported on December 8 that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad held talks with the opposition, resigned as head of state and left the country, instructing to carry out the transfer of power peacefully. On the same day, the national coalition of revolutionary and opposition forces of Syria said that it was working on the formation of a transitional authority. In turn, the Prime Minister of the SAR Mohammed Ghazi al-Jalali said that he is ready to cooperate with any leadership of the country that will be elected, and most of the ministers of the Syrian government remain in Damascus.
The situation in Syria has escalated as a result of a major attack by armed formations in Aleppo and Idlib, which began on November 28 and led to the Syrian army's retaliation against the militants.
