Russian officer says the AFU has deployed NATO instructors to Kursk region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are transferring instructors from Western countries to Kursk Region. This was reported on December 15 by an officer of the "North" troop group with the call sign Ladia.
"According to him (a captured British mercenary. - Ed.), first he was an instructor in Western Ukraine, then he was transferred to Sumy region, and after that he was sent to Kursk region," the officer was quoted by RIA Novosti.
He also added that the AFU fighters who were captured with the Briton reported that mercenaries from Scandinavian countries - presumably the Danes - were fighting in Kursk region. However, the officer noted that the AFU soldiers could not find documents or other signs to confirm this information.
Earlier, on December 1, the Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik, said that Russia was receiving more and more evidence of the presence of a significant number of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine fighting for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In particular, the number of Colombian mercenaries is increasing. He also added that entire units of Polish mercenaries are present in Ukraine and militants from the Georgian Legion (recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia) are active. Miroshnyk noted that Ukraine is forced to attract more and more foreigners, which may be related to high losses in the AFU and poor military training of those forcibly mobilized.
Before that, on November 28, British mercenary James Scott Rhys Anderson, who fought on the side of the AFU and was captured by Russia in Kursk Region, said that he regretted his decision. He also complained about the small salary.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
