Gladkov reported the death of a child as a result of the AFU attack on Belgorod region

A nine-year-old boy was killed in a Ukrainian drone attack in Belgorod Region, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on December 15.

"We had a terrible tragedy: a nine-year-old boy was killed, his mother and seven-month-old sister were injured. I wanted to express my sincere words. Condolences to all relatives and friends. Mom and daughter are in hospital. They are receiving all the necessary help," said the head of the region in a video message, published in the Telegram-channel.

Also, the governor of Belgorod region reported that the region was subjected to drone attacks 37 times during the day.

The previous evening, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that as a result of an attack by a Ukrainian kamikaze drone in the village of Kurkovichi in Starodubsky municipal district, one person was injured. A local resident received shrapnel wounds to his hands, legs and abdomen.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
