Defense Ministry reported 15 destroyed UAVs over Russian territory


Last night, air defense means intercepted and destroyed 15 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory, the Russian Defense Ministry said on November 15.
"13 UAVs were destroyed over the waters of the Black Sea, and one UAV each over the territories of the Kursk and Belgorod regions," the ministry's Telegram channel said.
Shortly before that, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that a nine-year-old boy was killed in an attack by Ukrainian drones in the Belgorod region. His mother and seven-month-old sister were also injured. All necessary assistance is being provided to the victims.
The previous evening, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported that one person was injured as a result of an attack by a Ukrainian kamikaze drone in the village of Kurkovichi in Starodubsky municipal district. A local resident received shrapnel wounds to his hands, legs and abdomen.
At 23:24, the head of the Orel region, Andrei Klychkov, reported that the fire resulting from a Ukrainian drone attack had been extinguished.
At 22:30, Governor Bogomaz reported that air defense assets (Air Defense Forces) had intercepted and destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the sky over the Bryansk region; there were no casualties or damage.
Shortly before, at 21:40, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin reported five casualties as a result of a drone attack on the town of Gorlovka. Six houses, a school, a territorial center and several buses were also damaged.
On the same day, two people were injured when an AFU drone attacked a service vehicle in Horlivka. They received injuries of varying degrees of severity.
Ukrainian militants are shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
