A fire caused by a drone attack has been extinguished in the Orel region


The fire, which occurred as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones, has been liquidated, Oryol Region Governor Andrei Klychkov said on December 14.
"The fire resulting from the attack of enemy UAVs was liquidated at 23:00. I ask the management of operational services to submit lists of distinguished for awarding," - wrote the head of the region at 23:24 in Telegram-channel.
Before that, at 22:30, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that the air defense means intercepted and destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the sky above the region; there were no casualties or damage.
Shortly before, at 21:40, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin reported five casualties as a result of a drone attack on the city of Gorlovka. Six houses, a school, a territorial center and several buses were also damaged.
Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
