According to information from the agency, the incident occurred at about 11:00 local time (19:00 Moscow time). The intruder was quickly detained and charged with unlawful entry.

A Secret Service spokesman noted that US President Joe Biden, who was at the White House at the time, was not injured.

The TV channel noted that the temporary barriers, through which the man wanted to jump, were put up around the White House in connection with the upcoming inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, which is due in January.
