Five civilians injured in Horlivka as a result of AFU attack


As a result of the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Gorlovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), five civilians were injured. This was reported by the head of the region Denis Pushilin on December 14.
"In the Central City district of Gorlovka as a result of the enemy's use of barrel artillery of cluster type, a woman born in 1967 was seriously wounded, a man born in 1963 and a woman born in 1969 received moderate wounds," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
In addition, as Pushilin reported, a Ukrainian drone struck the Nikitovsky district of Horlivka. As a result of dropping an explosive device from the drone, two men were injured.
Six houses, a school, a territorial center and several buses were also damaged.
The head of the DNR noted that the AFU carried out a total of 17 attacks and fired more than 35 munitions.
On the same day, two people were injured when an AFU drone attacked a service vehicle in Horlivka. They were injured of varying degrees of severity.
In addition, at night, the AFU hit an apartment building in the "Quarter 88" neighborhood in the Central City district of Horlivka. No one was injured. The wall of the house was penetrated by a shell.
Also, the DNR representation in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to Ukrainian War Crimes (JCCC) reported that a Ukrainian drone dropped an explosive object in the Nikitovsky district of Horlivka at 2:30 Moscow time.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, is ongoing. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
