Russian Ilya Borodin became world champion in complex swimming

Russian swimmer Ilya Borodin became the world champion in the 400-meter medley in Budapest.

In the final heat, the athlete showed a result of 3 minutes 56.83 seconds.

The silver medalist was American swimmer Carson Foster, 0.62 seconds behind Borodin. The bronze medal was won by Italian Alberto Razzetti (+2.00), specified "Sport-Express".

The World Short Course Swimming Championships - 2024 takes place in Budapest from December 10 to 15.

On the eve of the Russian swimmer Miron Lifintsev won a gold medal in the final 50 m backstroke. He overcame the distance in 22.47 seconds and won his third gold medal in the tournament.

Also on the same day, Russia's Evgenia Chikunova won silver in the 200m breaststroke. Kirill Prigoda also took second place in this category.
