Beglov outlined 10 priority areas for St. Petersburg's development

St. Petersburg implements the decisions of the President of Russia on the main directions of the country's development, the increase of national projects and the expansion of the "Time of Heroes" program. This was announced by Governor Alexander Beglov at the end of the plenary session of the XXII Congress of the All-Russian political party "United Russia".

Alexander Beglov noted that the Russian President's address to the congress outlined the main directions of the country's development.

"The President noted that in 2005 we had only 4 national projects, and from next year there will be 20 of them. This shows that our country is dynamically developing in absolutely all directions," the governor said.

He stressed that the program "10 priorities of St. Petersburg development" was formed together with "United Russia" and contains unique megaprojects, which are implemented with the support of the President of Russia.

Beglov noted that St. Petersburg is implementing the head of state's decisions to expand national projects and state programs, including the "Time of Heroes" program aimed at attracting participants of the special military operation to work in the executive authorities.

"We have already taken one participant, he is working for us. And we will continue to take such heroes to the executive branch, because they have gone through fire and water and really look at life. They are real heroes," emphasized Alexander Beglov.

Together with deputies from United Russia, St. Petersburg is working to support soldiers - participants of the Strategic Defense Forces, helping civilians of Donbass and Novorossiya, including in Mariupol - St. Petersburg's sister city. Multi-ton vehicles with necessary humanitarian cargoes are regularly sent to the NWO zone. Deputies and social services of the city are constantly in touch with the families of the fighters, helping them with the solution of various issues, the governor emphasized.
