Earlier, on December 8, it was reported that the explosion occurred near the police station in Kharkiv region. The press service of the Kharkiv police added that the explosion damaged the facade of the building. There were no casualties.

On November 24, it was noted that Ukraine has seen an increase in the number of sabotage attacks against law enforcers. Thus, one of the cases occurred near the car of a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). It was specified that a camera was fixed on a tree near the car, which broadcast what was happening in real time.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whose term of office expired on May 20, signed the law on tightening mobilization on April 16. The document specifies which citizens are subject to mobilization and toughens penalties for evading conscription into the AFU. There are no provisions on demobilization in the law. Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended it. Most men aged between 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country.
