Air defense forces shoot down fourth AFU missile in Kursk border region in a day

Air defense forces (Air Defense Forces) have shot down the fourth missile of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in a border area of the Kursk Region in a day.

"Another AFU missile has been shot down in the border area of Kursk region," the regional government's Telegram channel said on December 14.

It is specified that two Ukrainian missiles were destroyed by the Russian army at 12:07 Moscow time, the third - at 14:01 Moscow time.

On the same day, air defense assets shot down six AFU drones over Belgorod and Kursk regions between 11:30 and 12:40 Moscow time. It is specified that five drones were shot down over the Belgorod region, and one - over the Kursk region.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
