Putin says Russia is ready to fight back "across the entire front"

Opponents are trying to divide people in the Russian Federation, but we will firmly suppress provocations and respond to any challenges. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 14 at the XXII Congress of the United Russia party.

"In all historical times our opponents have tried to shake this unity. And now they are again following the scenario worked out for others, trying to divide people, to play the national or religious card," - said the head of state.

Vladimir Putin noted that Russia will firmly suppress such provocations, respond to any threats and challenges and fight back along the entire front, which is not only along the line of contact.

"The confrontation affects all aspects of our life: culture, education, worldview, economy and technological sphere. "United Russia" should be at the cutting edge of this just struggle, to use all its expert resources, political experience, authority, the best personnel in the interests of the people and the whole country," he concluded.

Earlier, on March 13, the Russian leader said that after the start of the special military operation to protect Donbass, Western countries faced powerlessness before the unity of the Russian people, as well as the growing capabilities of the Russian Armed Forces.

Prior to that, Putin emphasized that Russia's most powerful weapon is the consolidation of society and people's devotion to the Motherland. According to him, Western countries did not take this into account when they expected to suppress Russia with the help of economic sanctions and armed forces. They can't take this into account, because for this you have to be part of the common Russian culture, the Russian leader added.
