Sobyanin announced the opening of the "Journey to Christmas" festival in Moscow

The "Journey to Christmas" festival has opened in Moscow. It will last until January 12 and will unite 35 Moscow venues, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his official Telegram channel.

The festival is part of the project "Winter in Moscow", it is dedicated to the main winter and New Year traditions.

For example, the central location on Manezh Square is stylized as "Blue Light". Here they built an art object in the form of the Shukhov TV tower, and the main stage was decorated as a Soviet house of culture from the movie "Carnival Night".

On December 20, an exhibition of designer fir trees will open on Kuznetsky Most. More than 20 skating rinks are already open for winter sports fans, and 170 ice shows with the participation of the best Russian figure skaters will be held. In addition, everyone will take part in curling competitions and watch hockey matches.

In addition, the guests of the festival will enjoy an extensive concert program, children's matinees, over 4,000 master classes and a tea party with Moscow plushies.
