Five people poisoned by cooked pancakes in Transbaikalia

In Transbaikalia, five people were diagnosed with symptoms of acute intestinal infection after eating cooked products, namely pancakes stuffed with liver. This was reported by the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor on December 14.

"On the territory of Novaya Chara settlement of Kalarsky municipal district registered infectious disease with symptoms of acute intestinal infections in 5 people <...>. In the course of the epidemiological investigation and analysis of anamnesis it was found that pancakes <...> were purchased from a private manufacturer", - stated in the message of the agency, published in the Telegram-channel.

It is specified that after the study of products in it was found staphylococcus aureus.

Residents were also reminded that it is not worth buying ready-made food from the hands, as in its manufacture may be violated sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

The investigation continues.

Earlier, on December 8, a resident of Lomonosov (part of St. Petersburg) was poisoned by unknown gas after using an air freshener. The girl specified that she ordered the freshener in the delivery service. After using it, she felt sick. According to her, she lost her sense of smell, her mucous membranes dried up, there was perspiration, coughing, burning in the nasopharynx and dizziness. The girl needed medical assistance, which diagnosed her with poisoning.
