15 people were injured in a fire in the shopping center "Belarus" in Vitsebsk. This was reported by the Belarusian TV channel STV on Friday, December 13.

The fire was completely extinguished only by 21:00. 20 units of equipment and 90 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved in extinguishing the fire. 215 people were evacuated, another 10 were rescued by emergency services.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic informed that as a result of the fire, 15 injured people applied to hospitals in the city. Three of them are in serious condition. Mostly the causes of treatment were injuries, burns, carbon monoxide poisoning and cuts. All the victims are receiving the necessary medical care.

Thefire in the shopping center in Vitsebsk occurred on the same day. During the fire on the first floor of the facility, EMERCOM workers rescued 10 people and evacuated another 215 people. Earlier, the Ministry of Health of the Republic reported that six people were hospitalized as a result of the fire. At the same time the fire was localized.
