Ex-head of the DNR government apparatus sent under house arrest

The Basmanny district court of Moscow has elected Denis Petkun, former head of the government apparatus of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest in the embezzlement case. This is stated on December 13 in the Telegram-channel of the courts of general jurisdiction of the city of Moscow.

"According to the version of the investigation, Petkun and other persons stole budgetary allocations from the budget of the Republic," - stated in the publication.

Petkun is accused of embezzlement of an amount on a particularly large scale, committed by a group of persons (part 4 of article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He was sent under house arrest for one month and 30 days.
