Russian swimmer Lifintsev wins third gold at the World Cup in Budapest


Russian swimmer Miron Lifintsev won a gold medal in the 50m backstroke final at the World Short Course Swimming Championships in Budapest, December 10-15.
He covered the distance in 22.47 seconds and won his third gold medal of the tournament. Australia's Isaac Cooper (+0.02) was the silver medalist, while Ireland's Shane Ryan (+0.09) rounded out the top three.
