What to watch out for as an investor this week

The stock market declined last week amid increasing geopolitical pressure and expectations of a Central Bank rate hike, analysts at Finam Financial Group recalled. On Friday, the regulator will make the last decision on monetary policy this year - this is the main event of the next few days.

On Monday "Lenzoloto" will hold a meeting of shareholders on the issue of dividends, specified in "BKS World of Investments". It can affect the value of the company's securities. Besides, December 16 is the last day to buy shares of "Severstal", "Lukoil" and HeadHunter with the possibility to receive dividends. After the payments, the value of securities may temporarily fall.

On Tuesday, December 17, wine producer Abrau-Durso and medical company OzonPharm will hold a meeting of shareholders to approve dividends, said Gazprombank Investments analyst Andrei Stratichuk.

Thursday is the last day to buy shares of FosAgro and Renaissance Insurance with the possibility of receiving dividends, Finam said. In addition, Tatneft will make a decision on dividends, said in "Tsifra Broker".

On Friday, December 20, the last meeting of the Central Bank's board of directors on the key rate this year will be held. The Izvestia consensus forecast predicts its growth by 2 p.p., up to 23%.

The debt market will remain under pressure due to expectations of the Central Bank's policy tightening, Gazprombank Investments said. The RGBI index of government bonds will reach the level of 98 points.

The ruble this week will be traded at the rate of 102-108 per dollar, 107-112 per euro and 13.6-14.2 per yuan, predicted in Finam. At the same time, the MosBirch index may continue to decline to the area of 2350-2450 points, according to "BKS World of Investments".
