Russian Defense Ministry shows footage of the destruction of an AFU D-30 howitzer in Kharkiv region

The Russian military has destroyed a D-30 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv Region. The objective control footage was published by the Russian Ministry of Harrow (MoD) on December 13.

It is specified that the camouflaged firing position of the 122-millimeter howitzer D-30 calculation of the militants' unit was detected in a forest belt during reconnaissance by the military grouping of troops "North". After analyzing the reconnaissance data, a decision was made to fire.

The ministry noted that the strike was promptly carried out by an FPV drone.

Earlier, on December 11, the Defense Ministry shared footage of the destruction of an armored vehicle of the AFU in Kharkiv region with personnel inside.

On December 8, the Russian Armed Forces' "North" group of troops also struck an area of concentration of Ukrainian militants' manpower and equipment in Kharkiv Region. As a result of the use of the TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system, the Ukrainian militants' hideouts were destroyed.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
