Sergunina told about ice shows on Moscow's festival grounds

The capital will show 170 ballets on ice as part of the "Winter in Moscow" project. Famous skaters have prepared performances, including "The Nutcracker", "The Golden Key", "Cinderella" and "The Frog Princess", said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"The performances can be seen on five skating rinks of "Moscow Seasons" - in the city center and in the districts of Koptevo, Teply Stan, Maryino, Southern Medvedkovo", - explained Sergunina.

The show program began simultaneously with the start of the capital's festival "Journey to Christmas". On the Revolution Square the spectator stands are designed for 800 people, and in other locations they accommodate from 150 to 400 visitors.

Among the authors and directors of the ice ballets are Olympic champions Tatyana Navka, Evgeny Plushenko, and Peter Chernyshev, multiple winner of the Four Continents Cup. The duration of each performance is at least 45 minutes.

The schedule for December has already been published. Shows on the district skating rinks can be seen for free, and to attend performances on Revolution Square you need to buy a ticket (its cost - 100 rubles).
The performance "The Nutcracker" can be seen at the rink on Teply Stan Street on December 15, and on Revolution Square - December 22, 28, 29. Ballet on ice "The Princess Frog" will be held on December 15 at the site on Sukhonskaya Street, December 22 - on Teply Stan Street, December 31 - on Pererva Street. With the show "Golden Key" skaters will perform on December 15 on Revolution Square, and on December 31 - on Sukhonskaya Street. You can see the production "Cinderella" on December 21 on Pererva Street and on December 28 on Sukhonskaya Street. The play "Snow White" will be shown on December 22, 24 and 25 on Revolution Square.

The project "Winter in Moscow" is the main event of the season, within the framework of which more than 1.9 thousand locations will work from December 1 to February 28. Citizens and tourists are invited to warm themselves with tea, skate, ski and tubing, watch ice shows and take care of those who need it.
