AvtoVAZ stopped production of special version of "Niva"

AvtoVAZ has withdrawn from production Lada Niva Travel SUVs in Comfort Off-Road configuration, which was considered the most off-road. This follows from the brand's price lists published on the Lada website, drew the attention of "Avto.ru Magazine" on December 13.

In November, the version of "Niva" in Comfort Off-Road'24 cost Br1.44 million, which is Br33 thousand more expensive than Comfort'24. In this version, the SUV was additionally equipped with a snorkel, had a dodger made of unpainted plastic, as well as mud tires and black ceiling trim.

Now Lada Niva Travel is available only in five configurations. In late November, AvtoVAZ announced the start of production of such SUVs with airbags and a new steering wheel, together with them the price of the model increased from 1.31 million to 1.33 million rubles.

The driver's frontal airbag and the system of calling emergency services "ERA-GLONASS" are installed on all sets of Niva Travel from the basic version Classic. In Comfort (from 1.54 million rubles) and above the cars are additionally equipped with a passenger frontal airbag. The most expensive Niva Travel now costs 1.64 million rubles.

Earlier in the day, AvtoVAZ announced that the plant "Lada Izhevsk" began production of a seven-seat station wagon Largus and modification Largus Cross, which is characterized by increased ground clearance and additional body protection.
