In Ukraine, employees of the territorial acquisition center (TAC) have kidnapped the secretary of the Khustka diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), Ivan Roizman. This was reported on December 13 by the TV channel "First Cossack".

"Secretary of the Khust diocese of the UOC Ivan Roizman was kidnapped by representatives of the TCC and taken to an unknown direction," the media outlet said in its Telegram channel.

The channel, referring to the words of the clergyman's son, writes that representatives of the military enlistment office took his father the day before, December 12. According to him, the kidnapping happened for the second time.

In addition, the report notes that the priest has documents that confirm that he is the guardian of his spouse with a disability.

It is added that Roizman was initially held in the Beregov district military recruitment center, and then taken away in an unknown direction.

Earlier, on December 2, the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Artem Dmytruk reported that in Poltava one of the employees of the TCK with a pen threatened to poke out the eye of a man subject to military service. He published a video of the incident. The footage shows the man trying to explain that he is unfit for service due to poor eyesight, to which the TCC employee threatens him.

Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (powers expired in May) signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men aged between 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country.
