Over the year, the share of young buyers of elite housing in Moscow increased by 7%


In Moscow, the share of young buyers of elite housing increased by 7% over the year. This follows from the data of Kalinka ecosystem, which were reviewed by "Izvestia" on December 15.
The largest share of buyers in the elite real estate market of the capital is the age category of 41-50 years old, which accounts for 37%, followed by the age group of 51-60 years old (25%). The share of transactions with buyers aged 31-40 years reached 21%. Those who purchased homes at the age of 20-30 years, account for 12% (+1% for the year), at the age of 60-70 years - 5%.
"The ratio of buyers of elite housing in Moscow among men and women is almost the same. In the structure of transactions men account for 52%, women - 48%. The majority of buyers are married couples with children or planning to expand their families. However, a significant share of buyers is also occupied by people who want to live closer to work or near the business area", - said Alexey Chumalov, General Director of Kalinka Russia.
The number of buyers includes representatives of various spheres of business: owners of large companies, top managers, young entrepreneurs, beneficiaries of companies that restore housing and infrastructure in newly acquired regions of Russia, managers and beneficiaries of military-industrial complex enterprises. There are also representatives of the IT sphere, creative professions, sports stars and famous personalities.
The main purposes of real estate acquisition remain investment purchases, long-term investments, purchase of additional housing, change of preferences in the place of residence, buying an apartment for children and change of family composition.
Earlier, December 2, it was reported that since the beginning of 2024 in elite new buildings in Moscow developers have sold 472 apartments and apartments, which is 36.8% more than in the same period in 2023. This follows from the calculations of experts of the company "Metrium". At the same time Dorogomilovo district is the leader in the number of transactions in the market of elite new buildings. Presnensky district is in second place, and Khamovniki is in third place.
