Two half-naked Ukrainian women damaged a monument in front of the United Nations (UN) headquarters in Geneva with chainsaws. This was reported by Reuters on December 13.

"Two women with a Ukrainian flag as garters shouted 'Keep Russia out of the UN' and 'To hell with Russia' as they sawed the monument, known as the 'Broken Chair', leaving more than a dozen cuts on it," the publication said.

It is noted that police intervention was required.

The publication said that the protesters belong to the Femen movement, which has a "notoriety" in Europe.

According to the agency, the representative of the police in Geneva confirmed that four people will be interviewed in connection with the incident.

Earlier, on November 12, it became known that a pro-Ukrainian activist from Lithuania Valdas Bartkevicius visited the border district of Kursk region and the town of Suja, where he desecrated a Soviet monument. It is noted that the activist had earlier expressed the need for a complete ban on the Russian language and Russian national culture in Lithuania and other European countries.
